During Sterling Communication’s tenure as Juniper Networks’ PR agency of record, we were tasked with creating, scripting, and directing video introductions to a 10-course online social media training program for the $4.7-billion networking company.
We also created the courses themselves to help hundreds of sales people learn how to effectively engage with customers, prospects, media, analysts, and other stakeholders throughout some of the greatest networks of all. The courses were designed for everyone to take online at times of their convenience — while ensuring the importance of the initiative did not go unnoticed.
Executives from around the company were drafted to introduce sections on company policy; contributing to Twitter, Facebook, Wikipedia, and other networks; and employing best practices while maintaining an eye on productivity.
Though participation was mandatory, kudos came in from around the company praising the courses’ concision and value.
